My Birthday is officially over.
Here's a million thanks to those who wished me and gave me presents.
For those who forgot, I will never forgive you.
Unless, of course, presents are involved.
These are the few web comics I follow.
I find them highly amusing and funny.

I just installed a totally new and wonderful comment system for this blog.
Try it.
After 9000 people asking me repeatly the exact date of when I'm going back to uni.
Here's my response:
It's on 26th December 2008.
And that day's my birthday.
=)
Jim Carrey is back with his new movie 'Yes Man'!
I watched it on Friday and I was actually pleasantly surprised because this show is very interesting and enjoyable for me. This movie starts by potraying Jim Carrey's character who missed out a lot in life by saying no to a lot of things after a divorce. His life changes when he goes to a seminar which made him say 'Yes' to everything.
For me, this is actually Jim Carrey's best movie since 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. His previous comedy, 'Fun with Dick and Jane', didn't go down too well for me.
Jim Carrey is still funny after all these years. This movie doesn't require much of Carrey's 'face making' techniques to be funny. A lot of the scenes and jokes are actually quite well thought and played out(or maybe that's because I didn't see the trailer?).
I also took a liking to Zooey Deschanel after this movie(She was in 'The Happening' which I obviously hate and I didn't really watch any of her earlier films.). Her character in this movie is very likable. She sang in a few of the scenes and her singing was obsolutely brilliant! She has this velvet voice that I just can't get enough of.
What great screen chemistry! The on-screen chemistry and charisma between Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel is actually very good. They are one of the best on-screen couples I've seen this year. They were actually incredible in this movie. The solid performance by Carrey and the lovely acting by Deschanel definitely carried this movie much more further.
This movies also reminds me of 'Liar Liar', which was my favourite Jim Carrey movie(And 'Liar Liar is still much more superior). It has this 90s comedy feel to it and I sure missed this kind of comedies. It is also a refreshing change after those crazy comedies they churned out from Hollywood this year(Tropic Thunder anyone? Meet the Spartans?).
There are also a few of the scenes that I like a lot. Classic Jim Carrey funny scenes like the the cellphone chat scene, the fighting scene, the red bull scene, the jumping man scene, and many more that I would still chuckle thinking about it. Another person to watch out for is the boss of Carrey's character. He is absolutely brilliant and he's funny in every scene he's in.
At last, this movie is still a comedy and it has the classic downside of comedies. The whole premise of this story is generally cliched and easily predictable. And some of the story flow between a few of the scenes did not come out too well. Despite the flaws, I still enjoyed this movie a lot at the end of the day. Isn't that the only thing that matters? I feel like the RM10 I paid for this movie is worth every cent.
Would I advise you to watch this over The Day The Earth Stood Still? YES!
Should you watch this movie? A DEFINITE YES!

I have eaten Yuen Steamboat for two freaking times since I was back and another time where I went for the Soymilk steamboat in Sunway.
And I have to say, my experience there is bad.
I always have nausea after I eat there. There is something about the food there that makes me wanna puke everytime I think about it.
Enough of buffet steamboats in Sunway already!
The next person who ask me go eat is gonna get it.
=(

In the midst of trying to create an epic post.
I wondered.
And thought for awhile.
You know why life is so strange sometimes?
You see.
In nature, living creatures do things according to what makes them feel good. Things that make them feel good actually let them survive and reproduce.
If a fat juicy deer tastes good, the lion will hunt and eat it.
Now don't give me the crap about how healthy food are "delicious", they ARE delicious if you have tasted them for 9000 years and you don't eat nothing but them for an eternity.

First major question of the day.
Why does food that tastes so good kill us?
So is it natural for humans to actually die before 40 because of heart attacks and high blood pressure induced stroke?

Some theories say that the body of living beings use energy for 3 general reasons:
1) Metabolism
2) Reproduction
3) Repair and Maintenance.
Somehow nature decides that no matter how much energy is used to repair and maintain the body, there is little chance that humans would live longer than 20 years old because of diseases, predation and accidents. Therefore, the energy is invested in reproduction. The body decides to invest less and less energy in repairing and maintaining the human body after 20 years. That's when the body begins to age, and in a long enough timeline, humans die "naturally"(how ironic) because the body no longer repairs its cells and functions efficiently to survive.

If a thing is painful, than it is bad for us.
If a thing is scary, it is also bad for us.
Whatever that hurts us, we would stay away.
Whatever that we're scared of, we would run away.
We are supposed to hang on and use every means necessary to keep living.
So, here are a few more questions:
Nature favors us to reproduce a lot and die young, but why does it want us to have the desire to keep living?
Why do some religions want us to abstain from doing things that let us feel good? Like having sex, killing(well if you hate someone and you kill him, you feel good after that, get it?), eating meat(pork especially), lying(to cover up and not let us get into trouble, basically it's avoiding pain), having alcoholic drinks, and more.

But still, why?
All of the normal human behaviours that we consider "bad" are actually tied to nature.
It's in our instinct.

That's why humans hate nature.
And that's why humans are destroying nature too in addition of trying to deny the very connection of humans to nature.
Damn humans.

I have observed something for a long time.
Do you know how some things just come together in Malaysia?
For instance, 7-Eleven and Ramli Burger stalls.
In front of every 7-Eleven, I swear to god, there must be stalls selling Ramli Burger.
What about cybercafes and mamak/indian restaurants?
Beside, under, or next to every cybercafe there must be mamak or indian restaurants.
Lately I found out that Penang Rojak stalls have been appearing in front of Public Banks.
Gosh.
This must be a conspiracy.
