A quick update on how things are going for me.
I'm having my finals now(which totally suck) and I'm somewhat balancing my time between sleeping, playing and studying.
You'll notice that I did some minor changes to the skin of the blog. It's high time for an update, I've been on hiatus from blogging for a very long time.
Day after day, this boy wakes up in his bed, wondering why he is alone.

A really shocking occurrence made me update my blog.

It was actually a sad day for a lot of people(including me). Many Americans link it to the assasination of J.F. Kennedy or the inauguration of President Obama. Many would still remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news(I hope it was because of happiness in the latter).
He has accomplished so many things in his life and had his share of scandals and whatnots. His death thought us that a great artist and legend will be remembered of his greatest accomplishments and successes instead of the scandals and the mistakes he allegedly done. I'm sure that plenty of us(and even our parents) grew up listening to his songs and watching his incredible dance moves. His songs touched different generations and all of us will definitely miss him.
His death was very sudden as it happened at the eve to his potentially great comeback into the world of music. He was going to hold sell out concerts in Europe to mark his return, but sadly none of us can see him perform live ever again.
Over the course of history, only three entities climbed to the top of the entertainment industry. They are the undisputed legendary kings, i.e. Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and of course Michael Jackson.
No one from this generation could ever match the legacy, greatness and influence he had on all of us.
I salute and honor you, MJ. May you rest in peace.
Playing with twitter today and I found some interesting trends.
#Cibai is one of the top trends in twitter today, especially for the south-east Asia community.
Microsoft Research has been doing a project over the last two years and named it "cibai", and it appears to be a random name with any meaning and it's NOT an acronym or abbreviation.
A quote from the Microsoft Research website
"We introduce Cibai a generic static analyzer based on abstract interpretation for the modular analysis and verification of Java classes. We present the abstract semantics and the underlying abstract domain, a combination of an aliasing analysis and octagons.
We discuss some implementation issues, and we compare Cibai with similar tools, showing how Cibai achieves a higher level of automation and precision while having comparable performances."
Facepalm
LOL.
Major fail on Microsoft's part. Why oh why did they name this after cibai?
And it took 2 years for us south-east Asians to know about it and laugh our ass off!!
